1. Definitions
“We”, “Us”, or “Our” refers to Hastings Virtual Address, a trading name of Cleared Wright Ltd, registered in England and Wales.
“You” or “Client” refers to the individual or legal entity purchasing services.
“Services” refers to our virtual address and mail handling services including Registered Office Address, Director Service Address, Mail Forwarding and Collection.
2. Service Overview
We provide a virtual address service from our Hastings high street location. This includes the use of our address for mail receipt, mail forwarding and collection by clients. Services are available to individuals, businesses, or limited companies for lawful purposes only.
3. Service Use Restrictions
You agree not to use our services:
- For any illegal or unlawful activity, including fraud, deception or money laundering.
- To receive controlled items, dangerous goods, or illegal substances.
- In a way that would damage our reputation or breach any laws.
4. Client Obligations
- You must provide valid, current photo ID and proof of address (dated within the last 3 months) for AML/KYC compliance.
- You must notify us immediately if your contact details or forwarding address change.
- You are responsible for ensuring your use of our service is compliant with HMRC and Companies House rules.
5. Fees and Payments
- All monthly fees are payable in advance.
- Payments are to be made via card or bank transfer, and must be received before the start of each service period.
- We reserve the right to withhold or return mail if payment is not received on time.
- We charge Royal Mail postage + 40% for forwarding.
6. Mail Handling
- We will accept mail on your behalf and hold it securely.
- Mail can be forwarded to a nominated UK address, collected in person (with ID), or scanned (where agreed).
- We will store uncollected mail for up to 30 days. Thereafter, it may be securely destroyed or returned to sender.
- Parcels or oversized items must be notified in advance; storage charges may apply.
- We reserve the right to open and inspect any item of mail received.
7. Non-Payment and Termination
- If payment is not received within 7 days of the due date, your service will be suspended.
- If payment is not received within 14 days, we will terminate the agreement and return all held mail to sender.
- Any mail received after termination will be returned to sender or securely destroyed.
8. Liability
- We accept no responsibility for delays, losses, or damage to mail once it leaves our premises.
- Our maximum liability for any claim is limited to £10.
- We are not liable for fines, penalties or missed deadlines for filings and registrations.
9. Legal Compliance
- We will comply with all relevant UK laws including Money Laundering Regulations and GDPR.
- We may share your data with regulatory bodies or law enforcement if legally required.
10. Right to Refuse or Cancel
We reserve the right to:
- Refuse service to any individual or business at our discretion.
- Cancel services without notice if you breach these terms, or we suspect illegal activity.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms occasionally. Clients will be notified in writing. Continued use of our services after updates implies acceptance.
12. Your rights to cancel
You can cancel your service at any time by writing to us, and informing us. Your service will run until the end of the paid period. We do not provide part used refunds. It is your responsibility to cancel your payment, as we cannot issue refunds.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of England and Wales.
